Usage:
START BY:
a. remove cab rear cover
To prevent possible personal injury, do not disconnect any lines from the air reservoir tanks until all the pressure has been released from the air system. |
NOTE: Air reservoirs (1) and (2) are service air reservoirs. Air reservoir (4) is the governor air reservoir and (3) is the parking brake air reservoir.
1. Open the air tank drain valves on the right side of cab to release all air pressure.
2. Put identification marks on the hoses to be removed. Disconnect the hoses connected to the reservoir to be removed.
3. Remove the bolts that hold the air reservoir in position. Remove the air reservoir.
4. Remove the valves from the air reservoir if necessary.
NOTE: The following steps are for installation of the air reservoir.
5. Install the valves on the air reservoir if they were removed.
6. Put the air reservoir in position, and install the bolts that hold it.
7. Connect the hoses to the air reservoir.
