Usage:
(1) 4T844 Relief Valve:
Opening pressure ... 14 900 ± 170 kPa (2150 ± 25 psi)
With a flow of ... 160 ± 8 liter/min (42 ± 2 U.S. gpm)
NOTE: Engine speed must be at high idle.
(2) Turn plunger clockwise (CW) to increase pressure and counterclockwise (CCW) to decrease pressure ... 1/4 turn for approximately 860 kPa (125 psi) change in pressure.
(3) Holes in flow control orifice must be in alignment with the holes in the valve body.
(4) 8J322 Spring (relief valve):
Length under test force ... 36.8 mm (1.45 in.)
Test force ... 137 ± 11 N (30.4 ± 2.4 lb.)
Free length after test ... 42.06 mm (1.66 in.)
