Usage:
Introduction
A field installation kit, group number 504-9055 is now available to install a neutral start switch (control valve). The kit contains the following parts needed for the installation.

Necessary Parts
Modification of Wiring Harness
1. Remove the 3-902-10 Wire and 3-700-65 Ring Terminals from the kit. Cut the wire into two equal lengths of 610 mm (24"). Carefully remove enough insulation (from both ends of each wire) to allow for installation of the 3-700-63 Butt Connectors and 3-700-65 Ring Terminals. Fasten a 3-700-65 Ring Terminal to one end of each 3-902-10 Wire. Do not install the 3-700-63 Butt Connector at this time.
2. Locate engine wiring harness (near the 2-2654 Ground Drive Pump).
3. Carefully cut a horizontal opening through harness wall 1. to expose harness wiring. Be sure not to cut or damage the wiring.
4. Locate and cut the white wire.
5. Remove enough insulation (from each wire) to allow for installation of the 3-700-63 Butt Connectors.
6. Fasten each 3-902-10 Wire 3. to harness wires 4. using 3-700-63 Butt Connector 2.
Removal of the Control Valve Assembly
1. Remove existing control valve assembly 1. from 2-2654 Ground Drive Pump 2. by removing nine bolts.
2. Install the new 2-2682 Control Valve Assembly using the nine bolts and three O-rings supplied with kit.
3. Fasten 3-902-10 Wires 3. to the terminal side of the new 2-2682 Control Valve Assembly with 3-700-65 Ring Terminals 4.
