Rework Procedure
1. Remove the rear cover of the generator and cut the tie wraps constraining the EMCP II wiring in the generator terminal box.
2. Support the panel and cut each cable on the four existing cable isolators.
3. Raise the panel one to two inches to allow access to the isolators.
4. Remove the top and bottom of the separated cable isolator.
5. Install the adapter plate to the underside of the EMCP II Panel using 4B1274 Machine Screws. Apply thread lock compound prior to installation.
6. Wrap exposed control harness with flexible conduit or other suitable material to protect from chaffing and water entry. Feed the bottom edge through the existing bellows and secure the conduit with tie wraps.
7. Place one 4M5281 Hex Head Bolt in the hex formed end of the new 1382926 Isolator. Repeat for each of the four mounts.
8. Install the isolator by fastening to the adapter plate with four 7H3986 Screws. Apply thread lock compound prior to installation.
9. Fasten the isolator to the generator top by feeding the threaded end of the hex head bolt through the existing hole and fastening with a nut and washer on the underside of the generator top cover. Remove the panel supports after securing the new mounts.
10. Secure the EMCP II wiring inside the generator terminal box using tie wraps and replace the rear cover of the generator.
