Overlap Joint On Crankshaft Front Seal Ring Prevents Leakage
Usage:
D353 Industrial and Marine Engines.
Description of Change: A new crankshaft front seal ring which has an overlap joint (see the illustration), is used in the D353 Engines to prevent oil leakage. The former crankshaft front seal ring had a butt joint which let oil leak through the joint.
Adaptable As: The new 7N9679 Seal Ring is a direct replacement for the former 6H5844 Seal Ring which has been canceled.
