Use The Drive Sleeve On The Fuel Injection Pump Camshaft Only One Time

Usage:

All 3208, 3304, 3306 Engines Equipped With Sleeve Metering Fuel Systems

When it becomes necessary to remove the fuel transfer pump from the fuel injection pump housing, the 4N2954 Drive Sleeve on the fuel injection pump camshaft must be removed. Any time the drive sleeve is removed from the camshaft, a new drive sleeve must be installed. The camshaft has serrations (splines) that cut grooves into the drive sleeve when it is installed, to give a positive drive. If a formerly used drive sleeve is installed again, it can slip (slide around) on the camshaft.

Installation of drive sleeve.
