Gasket For Water Temperature Regulator Now Has Larger Vent Passage
Usage:
3304 and 3306 Engines
Description of Change: A gasket that is .090" (2.28 mm) thick is now used between the cylinder head and the water outlet elbow. Formerly, a gasket .062" (1.57 mm) thick was used at this location. The thicker gasket gives a larger vent passage to let air get past the temperature regulator and out of the cylinder block and cylinder head in a shorter period of time.
Adaptable As: The new 7N944 Gasket is a direct replacement for the former 2P2715 Gasket which is canceled.
