Improved Crankshaft Main Bearing With Higher Strength Aluminum Alloy

Usage:


D346, D348, D349 Engines

Description of Change: Different crankshaft main bearings are now used in the above models. The aluminum alloy in the new bearings is of a higher strength. Also, the bond (method to fasten) between the aluminum alloy and the steel is stronger.

Adaptable As: Direct replacement.

The same change will be made in oversize and undersize parts service bearings as soon as possible.
