All Caterpillar Products Equipped With 8S5820 Breather
Description of Change: A new breather is now used on several Caterpillar products. These breathers are used in towing winches, final drives, and brakes, etc.
The new breather is made of steel and will give a longer service life. The former breather was made of plastic. Reports show that the plastic breather can break and permit debris to enter the system.
Adaptable To: The new 9G5127 Breather is a direct replacement for all applications that formerly used the 8S5820 Breather. The former breather is canceled.
