Lugs And Setscrews Now Used To Prevent Movement Of The Circle Drive Housing {5207}

Description of Change: Lugs and setscrews are now used in the drawbar group to prevent movement of the circle drive housing.

Formerly, it was possible for impact loads to cause movement of the housing. The movement of the circle drive housing caused the bolts to loosen.

Adaptable To: The new parts are adaptable to all earlier 16G Motor Graders. To adapt this change to earlier machines, it will be necessary to fabricate the two lugs as shown in Illustration 1.

The two lugs have threaded holes and are welded to the yoke assembly on each side of the circle drive housing as shown in Illustration 2. The two 2H3892 Setscrews and two 1D5119 Nuts are installed in the lugs and tightened against the circle drive housing to prevent movement of the housing.
