New Carburetor Improves Engine Performance {1266}
Usage:
G3406 (4FD, 5NW) Engines
Description of Change: The new carburetor group is used on these engines. The only difference between the new and former carburetor groups is the addition of a new washer under the carburetor gas valve. The installation of the new washer under the valve provides these benefits:

- * Better control of the air/fuel mixture
- * Increased engine stability at high idle/no load.
- * Better control of the air/fuel mixture
Adaptable To: The new 159-8337 Carburetor Group is a direct replacement for the former 7E-5427 Carburetor Group on these engines. The new carburetor group is adaptable to the above engines back to first production. The new 7E-1569 Washer can be installed under the 9Y-9811 Gas Valve in the former 7E-5427 Carburetor Group.
