144-7647 Particle Sensor Group
The 8C-3446 Fluid Sampling Valve is standard for all 3600 Diesel Engines. This sampling valve is part of the 144-7647 Particle Sensor Group. For more information on the particle sensor, see the Reference Article.
The location of the sampling valve allows oil that is flowing under pressure to be obtained during normal engine operation. This will enable consistent oil samples of good quality to be obtained.
The 8T-9190 Fluid Sampling Bottle Group is recommended for use with the sampling valve. The bottle group includes the probe, tube, and bottle that are needed for obtaining oil samples. For more information on oil sampling, see the Reference publication.
