Location Of Drain Plugs In Cylinder Block For Air Inlet Manifold

Usage:

3612 (9RC),
G3612 (14G),
3616 (1PD),
3616 (4CG) Engines

There have been inquiries about the locations of the air manifold (cavity) drain plugs. The illustrations identify the locations of the air manifold drain plugs on the sides of the cylinder block. If excess oil is found in the air inlet manifold, drain the oil from the cylinder block by removing the drain plugs. Then adjust the Intake Valve Lubrication Metering Pump to provide the correct oil flow. See the Specifications Module of the Service Manual.
