A new relay has been added to the 7C9064 Inline Diesel and the 7C9063 Vee Diesel Instrument Panel Groups. The relay addition is effective with 8RB359, 6MC290, 9RC66, 1PD38. This relay and associated parts are adaptable to existing instrument panels.
This relay will provide the necessary isolation between the annuciator and either the 9Y1784 or 7E0870 Digital Pyrometers.
To connect the pyrometer to the annuciator panel use the 9Y2921 Relay to isolate the pyrometer switch contacts from the annuciator panel. The wiring instructions and diagram are included in Special Instruction SEHS9020, "Service Replacement Of 7C8980 Pyrometer With 9Y1784 Or 7E0870 Digital Pyrometer."
