New Bolt Improves Serviceability Of Auxiliary (Sea Water) Pump Group
Usage:
3508, 3512 Industrial, Marine, And Generator Set Engines
Description of Change: A new bolt is used to secure the pump drive housing onto the pump group. The new 12-point bolt has a smaller head. This will allow for greater clearance to service the pump group. The former six-point bolt did not provide adequate clearance for wrench movement.
Adaptable To: The new 5P7972 Bolt replaces the former 0T0768 Bolt. The part number for the improved 4W6673 Auxiliary Sea Water Pump Group has not changed. This change is adaptable to first production.
