Description of Change: New engine oil coolers used on the above engines have rubber end sheets in place of brazed metal end sheets. The rubber end sheet design provides better reliability and serviceability than the previous design.
Adaptable To: The new 7C3039 Cooler Core Assembly is a direct replacement for any previous usage of the 2W1008 Core Assembly. The 7C3039 Core Assembly has a 112.5 mm (4.43") diameter and will be standard production for 3408 and 3408B (67U) Industrial Engines.
