The new valve bridge is of floating type. It is acceptable to install guided bridge head and a floating bridge head on the same engine.
Note: When changing any part from the former (guided) to new (floating) bridge design, valve and bridge both must be of the new design. When ordering cylinder heads, new floating bridges must also be ordered.
The new and former part numbers are listed in Table 1.
