Exhaust Manifold Thermocouples Have Longer Insulated Leads
Usage:
3600 Family Of Engines
Description of Change: New thermocouples are used in the exhaust manifolds on the 3600 Family Of Engines. The heat shielded portion of the leads on the new thermocouple is about 625 mm (25") long instead of 300 mm (12") long. The longer leads can be rerouted so they are not as close to the exhaust manifold as the former leads.
Adaptable To: The new 7C244 Thermocouple can be used as a direct replacement for the former 5N9365 Thermocouple which is still serviced.
