Radiator - Install

- Remove the belt guards (12) from the radiator .
- Install Tooling (A) and position the radiator.

Note: Do not use a hammer to drive the key (8) into the keyway (9).

Screws (5) must be installed on the pulley as shown in Illustration 5 and tightened to open the taper lock hub.
Note: Use a straight edge to align the drive line pulley to the fan/idler pulley to be within
10 mm (0.4 inch) axially. - Position and install the pulley assembly (6) on to the shaft (7).
- Once the pulley assembly (6) is secured on the shaft (7), screws (5) can be removed. Ensure that the taper lock screws (5) are replaced onto the radiator panel after install.

- Tighten three bolts (4) to a torque of
25 ± 10 N·m (221 ± 89 lb in) . - Tighten three bolts (4) to a torque of
50 ± 10 N·m (37 ± 7 lb ft) . - Tighten three bolts (4) to a torque of
115 ± 10 N·m (85 ± 7 lb ft) .

- Install drive line belts (3).

- Use Tooling (B) to measure the tension of each belt at span 2 shown above.
- Refer to the users manual for the belt tensioning device for operating instructions.
- Adjust tension of belts (3) to a reading of 63.5 Hz.
