ARD Fuel System - Test

Usage:

  • Connect the Cat® Electronic Technician (ET) to the service tool connector.

  • Start the engine.

  • Activate the "ARD Ignition Test". The test runs for approximately 5 minutes.

  • While the ARD ignition test is active, inspect the fuel line and the coolant line connections at the following locations:

    • Inspect the fuel line connections at the ARD head for leaks

    • Inspect the fuel line connections at the ARD fuel manifold for leaks

    • Inspect the coolant line connections at the ARD head for leaks
