Description Of Change: The new prelube pump is designed with grade 8 bolts, new isolation mounts, new hoses, and new wiring harnesses.
Adaptable To: The following changes are adaptable to the products within the listed serial numbers, and are effective with all products after the listed serial numbers.
The new 497-5571 Prelubrication Oil Pump Gp replaces the former 302-8729 Prelubrication Oil Pump Gp.

Note: The 487-0232 Prelubrication Oil Pump and Mounting Gp contains the 497-5571 Prelubrication Oil Pump Gp.
- Install two bolts (2) and two bosses (3) into each bracket (1).
- Attach two brackets (1) to the engine block one on each side of cylinder 5 with two bolts (4) and two bosses (3) per bracket.
