Use 6V6147 Polishing Wheel To Clean Piston Pins
Usage:
All Caterpillar Engines
The 6V6147 Polishing Wheel is available to make it easier to clean piston pins. It will not damage the surface finish. It is easier to tell if pins can be used again if they are clean and discoloration (blue and other colors) is removed.
The Guideline for Reusable Parts, Piston Pins and Retaining Rings, Form SEBF8051 has instructions for the use of the polishing wheel.
