Venturi Tube - Remove and Install

  1. Remove cable straps (1). Disconnect harness assembly (2). Loosen clamp (3), clamps (4), and remove tube (6), and hose (5).

  2. Disconnect harness assembly (8). Remove bolts (7). Remove bolts (10) and venturi tube (9).

  3. Remove bolts (11) and pressure sensor (NRS differential) (13) from venturi tube (9). Remove pressure sensor (NRS absolute) (12) from venturi tube (9).

Installation Procedure

  1. Install venturi tube (9) in the reverse order of removal.

    Note: Do not reuse clamp (3), clamp (4), and hose (5).

    1. Tighten pressure sensor (12) to a torque of 10 ± 2 N·m (89 ± 18 lb in).

    2. Tighten bolts (11) to a torque of 20 ± 2 N·m (177 ± 18 lb in).

    3. Replace hose (5).

    4. Replace clamps (4) and clamp (3).

    5. Use Tooling (A) to lubricate the inner part of clamp (3).

    6. Tighten clamp (4) to a torque of 8.5 ± 2 N·m (75 ± 18 lb in).

    7. Tighten clamp (3) to a torque of 8.5 ± 2 N·m (75 ± 18 lb in).
