Description of Change: The improved Exciter Rotor is now used on machines as shown affective in Table 2. This new exciter has been improved with insulation material added between phase conductors, thus improving the durability of the exciter, and lowering the risk of shorted windings inside the exciter rotor.

Adaptable To: Replace the exciter rotor with the same part number, new revision that has production improvements implemented. Also, available separately, upgrade the existing varistor to a superior voltage suppression component. Refer to Table 1 for former and new part numbers.
