1	1	7C-1897 Speed Sensor Gp	Use the following procedure to tighten the engine speed sensor: 1. Before assembly, apply white Loctite 5140 flange sealant to the threads. 2. Install the engine speed sensor into the 5/8 threaded hole and turn until the magnetic core contact with a tooth of the flywheel ring gear. 3. Back out 180 degrees and tighten the locknut. 4. Tighten the locknut to 45 ± 7 N·m (33 ± 5 lb ft). 5. The clearance between the engine speed sensor and the flywheel ring gear is 0.56 to 0.84 mm (0.022 to 0.033 inch).
