- Drain the coolant. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant (ELC) - Change" for the correct draining and filling procedures.

Illustration 3 g03766517 - Remove water temperature regulators (6) and seal (8) from temperature regulator housing (5).
- Clean any lubricant from bore (7).

- Remove lip seals (8).
- Install water temperature regulator housing (5) in the reverse order of removal.
- Apply a thin layer of Tooling (A) to lip seals (8) and to bore (7).
