Venturi Tube - Remove and Install

  1. Remove cable straps (2). Disconnect harness assemblies (1) and (3). Loosen clamp (7) and remove clamp (4), tube (5), and hose (6).

  2. Loosen clamp (10) and return venturi tube (8) and hose (9).

  3. Do not reuse clamp (10) and hose (9).

  4. Remove bolts (11) and pressure sensor (NRS differential) (13) from venturi tube (9). Remove pressure sensor (NRS absolute) (12) from venturi tube (8).

Installation Procedure

  1. Install venturi tube (8) in the reverse order of removal.

    Note: Do not reuse clamp (4), clamp (7), and hose (6).

    1. Tighten pressure sensor (12) to a torque of 10 ± 2 N·m (89 ± 18 lb in).

    2. Tighten bolts (11) to a torque of 20 ± 2 N·m (177 ± 18 lb in).

    3. Replace hoses (6) and (9).

    4. Replace clamps (7) and (10 ).

    5. Replace clamp (4).

    6. Use Tooling (A) to lubricate the inner part of clamp (4)

    7. Tighten clamp (4) to a torque of 8.5 ± 2 N·m (75 ± 18 lb in).
