- The keel cooled engine header tank can be installed in various places. Ref to the Original Equipment Manufacture (OEM) for the correct location.
- The engine can start automatically. Ensure that the power supply is isolated before any service or repairs is performed.
- Drain the coolant from the cooling system to a level below the coolant level switch, into a suitable container for storage or for disposal. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant (ELC) - Change" for the correct draining and filling procedure.

- Use a deep socket to remove coolant level switch (2) from expansion tank (1).
- Remove O-ring seal (4) (not shown) from coolant level switch (2).

- Ensure that the coolant level switch is free from wear or damage.

- Use a deep socket to install coolant level switch (2) to expansion tank (1). Tighten the coolant level switch to a torque of
25 N·m (221 lb in) . - Connect harness assembly (3) from coolant level switch (2).
- Refill the cooling system to. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant (ELC) - Change" for the correct procedure.
- Connect all electrical supplies system to the engine and the control systems.
