Sejměte řemen. Viz Demontáž a montáž, "Řemen alternátoru – Demontáž a instalace".
Ujistěte se, zda je napínač řemenu (1) pevně namontován. Vizuálně zkontrolujte, zda napínač řemenu není poškozen. Zkontrolujte, zda se řemenice napínače volně otáčí a zda není uvolněné ložisko. Některé motory mají řemenici vloženého kola (2). Ujistěte se, zda je řemenice vloženého ozubeného kola pevně namontována. Vizuálně zkontrolujte řemenici vloženého ozubeného kola, zda není poškozená. Zkontrolujte, zda se řemenice vloženého ozubeného kola může volně otáčet a zda není uvolněné ložisko. Je-li to nutné, vyměňte poškozené součásti.
Nasaďte řemen. Viz Demontáž a montáž, "Řemen alternátoru – Demontáž a instalace".
