Replacement Governors For Early Engines
Usage:
3116 Truck Engines
The governors for earlier 3116 Truck Engines are now serviced by other part numbers. In some cases additional parts are required to connect the governor control linkage to the new governor. To find the new governor and associated parts, look up the former governor in the NPR. The part numbers of the new governor and associated parts will be listed in column 3.
NOTE: A new throttle cable is required if a former governor is replaced with a new governor, on the 3116 (7SF) Truck Engines in GM Topkick and Kodiak Trucks. The GM Part Number of the new throttle cable is 15670904.
