Control Valve (Water) - Disassemble

Usage:

785D DMC

Disassembly Procedure

Start By:

  1. Remove the control valve.


NOTICE

Keep all parts clean from contaminants.

Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.


Note: Put identification marks on all parts to aid in assembly.

Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the disassembly procedure is started, clean the exterior of the components to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism. Precision components can be damaged by contaminants or by dirt. Perform disassembly procedures on a clean work surface. Keep components covered and protected at all times.

  1. Remove six bolts (2) from control valve housing (1) .

    Note: Control valve housing (1) is fitted with O-ring (3) .

  1. Remove two bolts (4) and two washers (5). Remove flat plate (6). Remove puck (7) .

    Note: Shims may be installed behind puck. Retain shims for assembly.

  1. Remove bolt (8) and washer (9) .

  1. Remove nut (10) and sealing washer (11) .
