Description of Change: A new oil filler tube is used in the oil filler group. Cracks could form in the former oil filler tube assembly. A support bracket has been added to the middle of the new oil filler tube. The support bracket is bolted to the oil filter base and makes the new tube assembly more solid and less likely to crack. The new oil filler tube assembly also makes it easier to add oil.

Adaptable To: The new components in the 9Y6263 Oil Filler Group are identified in the illustration and chart. The new components are direct replacements for the former 9Y8836 Oil Filler Tube Assembly which is canceled. The new tube assembly will fit all OEM conventional chassis installations. The new tube assembly is not compatible with the 9Y1840 Right Front Dipstick Group.
