(1) 24 VDC power supplies

The two 24 VDC power supplies (1) are located on the left panel of the MMS cabinet. The 24 VDC power supplies (1) are used to power all the circuit boards in the system.

Removal Procedure

Refer to Systems Operation, Testing and Adjusting, UENR3954, "Internal Component Preremoval Steps (MMS System Cabinet)" in order to shut down the system and gain access to internal components.

  1. Remove the seven wires that connect to the power supply. The wires have a labeling as the location of the wire. Verify each labeling on the wire with the location of the wire. Refer to Illustration 2 for wire connections.

  2. Remove the four mounting screws for the power supply assembly.

  3. Remove the two screws that attach the power supply to the left panel.

  4. Remove the power supply from the cabinet.

Installation Procedure

  1. Position the power supply on the left panel. Refer to Illustration 1 for the position of the power supply.

  2. Attach the power supply to the left panel with the two screws.

  3. Attach the eight wires to the power supply. Refer to Illustration 2 for wire connections.
