Note: M.C.S. regulated engines are equipped with check valves which allow specific pressure sensors to be removed while the engine remains in operation.
- Disconnect harness assembly (3).
- Remove coolant pressure sensor (2). Inspect check valve (1) for leaks. Replace as necessary. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Check Valve - Remove and Install" for the correct removal and installation procedure.

- Install the coolant pressure sensor (2) in the reverse order of removal.
- Tighten coolant pressure sensor to a torque of
10 ± 2 N·m (89 ± 18 lb in) .
- Tighten coolant pressure sensor to a torque of
