An Improved Transmission Planetary Shaft is Used on Certain CX31 On-Highway Transmissions {3160, 7620}
- On-Highway Transmission:
- CX31 (S/N: D9R1-UP; E2R1-UP; EBW1-UP; PTW1-UP; B3X1-UP)
Description of Change: A harder surface finish on the transmission planetary shafts has improved the durability of the shafts. Also, the harder surface extends the life of the shaft when experiencing heavy loads.
There is a new software group to be used with this new and improved shaft.
Adaptable To: The 386-1404 Shaft As is effective with the following CX31 On-Highway Transmissions:
- CX31 (S/N: B3X693-UP; D9R323-UP; E2R316-UP; EBW1188-UP; PTW363-UP)
- CX31 (S/N: B3X1-692; D9R1-322; E2R1-315; EBW1-1187; PTW1-362)
- CX31 (S/N: D9R323-UP; PTW363-UP)
- CX31 (S/N: D9R1-322; PTW1-362)
