New Suction Screen and Handle Are Used in 3500 Locomotive Engines {1302, 1302}

- 3512C (S/N: NJT1-UP)
- 3516 (S/N: 27Z1-UP)
Description of Change: The new suction screen and handle have a longer and improved bolted joint.
Adaptable To: The suction screen and handle are adaptable to engines dating back to the first production. The new handle and suction screen must be updated together.
The new parts are scheduled to be effective in all 3500 Locomotive Engines built beginning 6March 2013.
The new parts and the original parts are listed in table 1.
