TA19 Agriculture Transmission Electronic Control System Caterpillar

This diagnostic code is associated with the inching pedal position switch. The inching pedal is NOT a Caterpillar part but the diagnostic code for the component is triggered through the Transmission ECM software.

Test Step 1. INSPECT THE SWITCH.

1. Perform a visual inspection of the switch, the wiring for the switch and the hardware that is associated with the switch.

Expected Result:

There is no apparent damage to the switch, the wiring for the switch or the hardware that is associated with the switch.

Results:

• OK - There is no apparent damage to the switch, the wiring for the switch or the hardware that is associated with the switch.STOP

• NOT OK - There is apparent damage to the switch, the wiring for the switch or the hardware that is associated with the switch.
