Warning films inside UPS cabinet | |
Figure 1 shows the locations of films warning the technician of hazards associated with the operation and maintenance of the UPS. The text of each film is listed below:
A - WARNING: TO REDUCE RISK OF FIRE, REPLACE FUSES ONLY WITH SAME TYPE AND RATING OF FUSE
B AND G - CAUTION: WAIT 5 MINUTES FOR CAPACITOR DISCHARGE
C, E, AND F - WARNING: OPENING OF DOORS OR REMOVAL OF PANELS EXPOSES HIGH VOLTAGE.
D - CAUTION: RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK. THE UPS RECEIVES POWER FROM MORE THAN ONE SOURCE. DISCONNECT ALL SOURCES BEFORE SERVICING. DANGEROUS ELECTRIC CHARGE MAY BE STORED ON THE INVERTER CAPACITORS. WAIT FIVE MINUTES FOR CAPACITOR DISCHARGE.
