Advanced Preventive Maintenance

Usage:

UPSB 125 SEP
Advanced preventive maintenance should only be performed with consent and understanding by the customer. The customer must be informed that the load will potentially be placed at risk because full functional testing of the UPS will be performed.

The following sections are part of an advanced preventive maintenance procedure.

  • System Startup

  • Input Power - Test

  • Power Supply - Check

  • Configuration - Adjust

  • DC Bus Voltage - Test

  • On-battery - Check

  • Manual Transfer - Check

  • Communication - Check

  • Unit Final Check (see note)

Note: Unit Final Check is to be performed after any basic or advanced preventive maintenance procedure is performed.

These procedures are to be performed only by a qualified technician who has been trained to maintain this product. If at any time during the preventive maintenance procedure a problem is identified, the procedure should not be continued until the problem is resolved.
