Description of Change: The new air motor lubricator group has an improved screen on the air side for increased durability. The new lubricator has the same part number as the previous lubricator. But, the new part can be identified by a number "02" or higher stamping after the part number stamping. Refer to Illustration 1.

Also, a new fitting has been released for servicing the existing valves. This service will bring the older lubricator groups to the specifications of the new lubricator group.

Adaptable To: The new 172-0208 Air Motor Lubricator Gp with the correct stamping is a direct replacement for the previous 172-0208 Air Motor Lubricator Gp and 317-1556 Air Motor Lubricator Gp. The new lubricator is adaptable back to first production on the serial numbers that are listed above.

The new 362-0105 Fitting is now available to upgrade the existing 172-0208 Air Motor Lubricator Gp and 317-1556 Air Motor Lubricator Gp to the specifications of the new 172-0208 Air Motor Lubricator Gp .

Note: The existing 186-4180 Seal Kit is still used to service all seals and the screen on the fuel side.
