Rocker Arm and Shaft - Install

- Lubricate the contact points of pushrods (3) with clean engine oil. Install pushrods (3).
- Use Tooling (A) to install rocker arm and shaft (2).
- Install bolts (1).
- Tighten bolts (1) to a torque of
100 ± 20 N·m (74 ± 15 lb ft) in the sequence shown in Illustration 2. - Repeat Step4.
- Adjust the electronic unit injectors. Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "Electronic Unit Injector - Adjust".
- Adjust the engine valve lash. Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "Engine Valve Lash - Inspect/Adjust".
