Improved Oil Suction Tube Assembly {3300,3302}

Usage:

7251, 7261 Marine Transmissions

Description of Change: An improved oil suction tube assembly with two O-ring seals is now used on 7251 and 7261 Marine Transmissions. The use of two seals will prevent air leaks between the suction tube and the housing assembly. The former tube assembly with only one seal sometimes had an air leak at this location. Air in the oil can cause high temperatures in the oil and reverse clutch. Also, additional spacers have been added at the tube assembly mounting brackets so the tube can be put in the correct alignment with the bore in the housing assembly.

Adaptable To: The new parts, used together, are adaptable to 7251 Marine Transmissions with Serial Numbers 74E1461-up and to all 7261 Marine Transmissions.
