有些减振器带有取液样口。 如果减振器无外部损伤，则收集减振器液样。 应对该液体进行分析，以检查有无粘度的降低。 利用分析结果决定减振器是否需要重新修配或更换。 下述地址有液样器具包提供： 将器具包送回到同一个地址进行分析。

有些减振器不带取液样口。 当这种减振器达到下述条件时，必须进行重新修配或更换：
- 减振器已工作 20000 小时。
- 发动机正在进行大修。
