- Drain the coolant. Remove to "Operation and Maintenance Manual", Cooling System Coolant (ELC) - Change for the correct draining procedure.

Do not lower the bottom guard while under the machine. Injury could occur if the bottom guard slips off of the jack while it is being lowered.
- The axle oil cooler is located under bottom guard (1). Remove bottom guard (1). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly"Bottom Guard - Remove and Install".

Illustration 4 g06251270 - Remove bolts (7), the washers, and axle oil cooler (9). Remove bolts (6), the washers, and axle oil cooler (8).

Illustration 5 g06251274 - Remove bolts (10) and the washers. Remove axle oil cooler (8). Repeat for axle oil cooler (9).
- Install axle oil cooler (8) and axle oil cooler (9) in the reverse order of removal.
