Introduction

The problem that is identified below does not have a known permanent solution. Until a permanent solution is known, use the solution that is identified below.

Problem

Aftermarket autolube systems may require drilling, tapping, and/or welding for the installation. Due to the high stresses in the lift arm, lever, and link, extreme caution must be taken before drilling, tapping, and/or welding. Cracks in the base material may result from drilling, tapping, and/or welding. Contact GDSN before modifying the lift arms, levers, or links.

Solution

Create a GDSN Product Health Service Request (SR) with priority of "Product Inquiry / Informational". Add any information for the product group regarding the modifications to be made. Mention the TIB media number in the description or title (searchable fields).
