Hydraulic System Warm-Up
Use the following procedure to warm the hydraulic oil to a range of
- Start the engine.
- Raise and level the machine.
- Make sure that no personnel or objects are near the undercarriage.
- Override the interlocks to allow traveling while the machine is on jacks.
- Operate the tracks at full travel speed to warm the machine alternating directions every 2 to 3 minutes.
Note: Do not exceed
80° C (176° F) , if at any time the temperature drops below50° C (122° F) repeat this procedure. - Lower the machine on to the tracks.
