A Shorter Drive Belt for the Alternator on Bluebird Buses is Now Available {1207, 1397}

The drive belt for the alternator on Bluebird Buses may be too long. This issue is on Bluebird Buses that have front hoods and Caterpillar C7 Engines. The longer belt is causing the engine to run at higher coolant temperatures.
Contact the local Bluebird Dealer and reference the SO7MH"Fan Belt Replacement" for the proper alternator belt.
