(2) Wiring harnesses | |
(1) Lightly lubricate the bore of the adapter for the ignition transformer group with the lubricant that is being sealed.
Note: Apply 4C-9614 Silicone Sealant to the mating face of the harness connector. Install the connector within ten minutes in order to avoid hardening before the seal has been made.
Note: Align the connector with the notch in the uppermost position.
(3) Spark plug
- Torque for spark plug ... 26 ± 4 N·m (19 ± 3 lb ft)
- Electrode gap ... 0.40 to 0.46 mm (0.016 to 0.018 inch)

Note: Install one cable strap (4) for each valve cover that is shown in Illustration 3. Strap the harness assembly to support rod (5) .
(4) Locate tiewrap strap head on the back side of the clip (6) that is shown in Illustration 2 in order to tighten the cable strap.
(5) Remove all the labels from support rod and harness assembly before installation.
