Troubleshooting Test Steps  Values  Results

1. Check for Diagnostic Codes.

A. Turn the key switch to the OFF position.

B. Connect Cat ET

C. Turn the key switch to the ON position.

D. Clear the code. Restart the engine.

Diagnostic Code

Results: If the code does not return, an electromagnetic interference (EMI) may have caused the temporary malfunction. There is no problem if the code does not return.

Results: If the code returns, check the injector QR codes that are on top of the injector. Enter the correct injector trim codes for each cylinder into the engine ECM.

NOTE: For C2.4, refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Valve Mechanism Cover - Remove and Install" to access the top of the injectors.
