A new manufacturing procedure is being use for the HVAC systems on certain 950GC Medium Wheel Loaders. The new procedure will improve the service life of the HVAC system.

When servicing the HVAC system, the refrigerant oil should be inspected. If the refrigerant oil is a normal color, replace only components (1) and (2) in the required parts table. If the oil appears dark or black, replace parts (1) through (5).
Refer to the section titled System Contamination and Flush in SENR5664, "Air Conditioning and Heating R134a for All Caterpillar Machines" for replacement of HVAC components.
